Mickey Mouse Cousin's

This is the best picture that I captured, out of about 30, of the Harkness cousins. It was a struggle to get all of those energeic, tired, little ones to pose for a picture.
Left to Right: Malia, Susie, Grace holding Sofie, Aaron Jr., Isaac, and Pearl. Love those sweeties.

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E Club

Who needs Disneyland... when we've got Grandma!

Surf's Up

This picture just makes me want to jump for joy. LOL! Dave before entering the chilly water.
My brother, Stevie (great surfer) and Dave (first time surfing).
I wanted to give it a try.
Me and my brother.

Disneyland...WAHOO!

Thanks Dad-e-o and Mamma Mia!!!
My sweet parents (shown above) treated us with a trip to California this last week. We had too much fun! You can't go to California without visiting the 'happiest place on earth'... DISNEYLAND!

I really think that I enjoyed our two days of Disneyland more than the kiddies. I just get so excited about everything there... even the Disney characters... yes, I know they are really just men/women dressed up, but it's just so fun. It really is so magical... and I felt 5 years old every minute I was there. Susie loved Goofy. She tried to play with his wiskers and ear.

Left to Right: Christa, Pearl, Mom, Malia, Gracie, Goofy, April, Susie, Dad, Aaron Jr.

(Have you ever wondered why Goofy, a dog, could talk and stand...

but Pluto, also a dog, could not?)

Dave and Susie at California Adventure theme park.

Almost eveyone in my family's favorite ride at Disneyland is Splash Mountain. This picture is of Dave, Me, Dad, and Mom (covered by my arm... oops) enjoying the big plunge.

"Get me out of these long lines!"

Susie was such a trooper. She went more than half a week without naps... yet, she pushed through her fatigue and put on a happy face. She loved the trip... as did we!

Californi-ahhhhhhhh!!!

You're an Animal!

Snow Day

Notice how the snow is plastered on the side of these trees. When it snows here it is violent and ug-a-ly! The wind throws the snow, which really feels like millions of needles, hard into your face... and if you stood outside long enough, you'd look like these trees.

This is Susie in front of the Dr. Scholl foot clinic that Dave has/will get clinical experience.
"Hi"

I get crazy staying indoors as much as I have been lately... But, it has been way too cold to go out. We had some 'nicer' weather and I took a walk outside with Susie; she loved to smash the snow down with her feet and to just run out in the open. I never knew such cold until I moved to Chicag-ee, burrrrr!!!

Saucy Hair-gel

Love that she listens to me when I ask her not to touch her hair when her hands are covered with pasta sauce.

Where's Susie???

When it gets quiet... that's when I know that Susie is into some trouble making. She is tricky that way. She doesn't want me to stop her troublesome-fun. Here is where I found her a few days ago.
