Susie and Lennon have been wanting to make an erupting volcano for a while. Well, we finally got around to it. We made salt-dough to build around a soda bottle, which we would then drop in a mentos candy for the "eruption". The kids were pretty proud of their work... Susie even placed a toy dinosaur on the side of the mountain to add just the right touch. :) Here's video of their volcano in action:
